series of test conducts in nid studio test every year, one of those test is material handling. this task tests candidate's creative use of material.the students are given few materials and they are asked to create a 3d objects using those materials . the students are also asked to explain their design in few lines.students are judged on smart use of material to the given problem and on there explanation (write-up).the test for b.des occurs at nid main campus Ahmadabad and GDPD at nid vijayawada. da in this post is providing previous year material handling questions..hope this will help you, for any help regarding studio test mail us on designacademy20@gmail.com.

Q 1- Create footwear for any foot without using any adhesive,you can cut the material provided.

material provided- 1ltr water bottel,10 ice-cream sticks,10 straws, 1 packet polo(rs.5),1 shoe lace.

Q 2- make a CD box which can accommodate  10 CD's .

material provided- aluminium wire-1m,newspaper sheet-1 sheet, 1CD
